Playful Learning

DeepEarth recently had the joy of transforming a previously under-utilised space at Kingston Primary School into a vibrant hub of play and learning. This project wasn't just about hardscaping; it was about fostering creativity, physical activity, and a love for the outdoors.

We had so much fun creating our latest project! DeepEarth had the privilege of bringing to life renowned landscape architect Susan Small's vision for Kingston Primary School. A long, gently winding wheelchair accessible path takes scampering feet past an exciting array of natural boulder and log formations, to swings, a hammock, a bird-viewing platform (next to a carefully preserved swift parrot-habitat tree) and cubby house, a climbing wall, a hand-pump delivered water feature, a slippery slide, rope play bridge and sand pit.

It's all about creating a fun learning environment with durable pathways, engaging play structures, and vibrant spaces for kids to safely explore and enjoy, while developing a capacity to assess risk.
